If you’ve got something that stands
for prayer, roll it on down the road
in my direction—I’ll be standing
at the rim of the patient and organized
forest, to the left of a quaking aspen.
I’ll be scanning the horizon for a smudge
of myself. Roll it on down—
I like to watch things wobble.
