Blessing for Redemption

Blessed this edge where we wait, balancing, barely.
Will we choose to liberate
or choose to leave enslaved?
Blessed are we
when our choosings
begin to form redemption
from every fragment
from any raw material.
Sacred, this act
of taking responsibility
for the future of the worlds.
We will wrap ourselves in this knowing—
carry it across silence and sea
into a future
hanging
in the balance.
