Since 2013, Fringes has partnered with our sister organization Tikkun Olam Chavurah to create High Holiday services that are beautiful, personal, and also highly political. We meet in a historic Mennonite church in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia – a church that has also taken brave political stances, including welcoming LGBT members, and which has become a partner to TOC, including joint trips to Occupied Palestine.
For our liturgy we use the Reconstructionist machzor Prayerbook for the Days of Awe plus supplements with the mix poems and contemporary liturgy that Fringes brings to the partnership.
Below you’ll find the supplements we’ve built over the years, plus some of the talks and other readings we’ve used.
